New Research: Unified Hand Action Space Enables Cross-Embodiment Robot Manipulation
chris_j_paxton · x · 2026-08-12
This research proposes a Unified Hand Action Space (UHAS) representing robotic hand actions as sphere deformations, mapped via Cascade Inverse Kinematics. Validated on multiple hands (Allegro, LEAP, Shadow, MANO), it achieves zero-shot transfer and rapid finetuning, with successful real-world deployment.
