daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-08-11
Using the AI coding tool Fable, the author built 'Terra Incognita', an interactive star atlas website. The project maps 225 open scientific problems across 21 categories (constellations), allowing users to easily explore the frontiers of human knowledge.
The initiative was inspired by the growing potential of LLMs in research, such as Anthropic's experiment where an unreleased research version of Claude tackled the Riemann hypothesis, successfully increasing the lower bound for the fraction of zeros satisfying the hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.
