Hundreds of US Communities Consider Data Center Moratoriums

As AI compute demands surge, data center buildout is sparking significant pushback. The AI Now Institute announced a virtual workshop scheduled for August 19.

Currently, hundreds of communities have already passed or are considering moratoriums on new data center construction.
