Cursor to Launch Origin: GitHub Sync and Agentic Code Review
testingcatalog · x · 2026-08-11
Cursor is expected to announce its new Origin feature later today, which has been undergoing closed beta testing with selected internal partners.
Origin will introduce two new tabs:
- Codebase: Allows users to sync their repositories directly from GitHub.
- Review: Dedicated to an "agentic code review" process, notifying users when their attention is required.
The Cursor Origin page currently displays a waitlist form, likely to manage the infrastructure needed for syncing massive code repositories.
