NVIDIA Launches Nemotron 3.5 Lightning and NeMo Switchyard for Agentic AI
nordicinst · x · 2026-08-11
NVIDIA has expanded its Nemotron 3 model family with the release of Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, a 30-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts (MoE) open model designed for long-running agentic workloads. It delivers up to 4x faster token generation and a 30% reduction in time to completion compared to peers.
Alongside the model, NVIDIA introduced NeMo Switchyard, an open-source routing library. It enables enterprises to build smart routers that intelligently direct requests to the most suitable model based on specific needs, without requiring developers to rewrite their applications. These releases aim to provide highly efficient and controllable AI deployment across PCs, workstations, data centers, and the cloud.
