Nvidia's HBM Reduction Is an Emergency Measure, Not a Compute Breakthrough

In response to a J.P. Morgan report on Nvidia lowering DRAM content per chip, an analyst points out that this is not an architectural breakthrough.
Rather, it is an emergency measure to mitigate tight HBM supply and rising costs. If supply constraints ease, Nvidia would immediately increase the HBM allocation per chip again.
