The author shared hardware details about the 3D scan done using SuperSplat. The Co-Cathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle in Olsztyn, Poland, was scanned by Iris Digital using a Lidar C1 Share3Dcam paired with a Samsung Galaxy A54.

This low-cost, consumer-grade hardware combination achieved high enough accuracy to allow users to virtually walk down the nave. Furthermore, the resulting data is highly optimized, allowing it to be shipped and rendered smoothly directly in a standard web browser.
