A recent leak suggests potential pricing for DeepSeek V4 Pro: $2.40/M input, $4.80/M output, and $0.20/M cache hit. If true, input/output costs would increase 5.5x from current rates, while cache hits would jump a massive 55x.
Commenting on the leak, teortaxesTex argues that while input/output hikes might make sense, a $0.20 cache hit price is completely unreasonable and even exceeds original release prices. He speculates that DeepSeek's previous 10x price reductions were driven by technical breakthroughs and are unlikely to be revoked.
