Meta's newly released Muse Glimmer 30B initially lacked support for Apple's MLX framework. A developer has written the text model port and submitted a PR to the official repository.
Before submitting, the developer validated the port against Meta's own transformers reference implementation, reporting 5/5 exact next token matches and a 0.9965 logit cosine similarity. Users wanting to run the model on Apple Silicon can access the model files directly from the PR.
