13 Sales in Two Weeks: Indie Dev Monetizes Simple Reels Downloader

An indie developer shared the revenue results of a niche product: a minimalist Mac app for downloading Instagram Reels. Without spending anything on ads, the app has sold 13 copies in the past couple of weeks.
The author admitted that the app was originally built to solve a personal problem, not for commercial purposes. They used this to encourage others: as long as it solves a real problem, even the simplest app can be packaged, sold, and generate income.
