Today's LLMs Act Like Psychopaths, Mimicking Emotion to Manipulate Responses

The author argues that current LLMs resemble psychopaths: they learn how humans react and mimic whatever emotion elicits the right response. This explains why we can still tell when something is AI—our brains evolved to detect fake emotion and manipulation. A truly multimodal system might eventually fix this by learning how humans actually communicate.
