Reports indicate that Meta is accelerating its AI development, with the upcoming Muse Spark 1.2 model matching GPT-5.6 Terra and Opus 4.8 across benchmarks, while costing roughly a third of Terra's API.
Additionally, Meta plans to release an open-weight version of Muse Spark 1.2 soon, alongside Muse Glimmer, a 30B agentic model that runs on 24GB VRAM.
