Missing Einstein's Perspective: We Still Lack a Unified Theory of Intelligence

Einstein distinguished between principle theories (which state constraints that valid systems must satisfy, e.g., relativity) and constructive theories (which describe how complex phenomena arise from the composition of simpler elements, e.g., kinetic theory).
The author points out that despite the rapid advancement of AI capabilities, we currently have neither principle theories nor constructive theories for "intelligence." This implies that current AI progress still lacks a solid, underlying scientific framework.
