Nvidia Partners with Six Financial Giants to Mobilize $500B for AI Infrastructure

Nvidia has announced a partnership with six top global financial institutions, including Apollo and BlackRock, to establish an independent financing platform aimed at mobilizing over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure construction.
Jensen Huang stated that AI has transitioned from research to production, making computing power a new type of infrastructure asset. Nvidia's computing platform offers broad ecosystem coverage and flexibility, with continuous performance enhancements via CUDA software upgrades extending its economic lifespan—approaching ten years for the A100—thereby providing residual value guarantees.
The financing platform will help AI labs and enterprises secure capital at scale. Financial institutions will independently evaluate projects, while Nvidia may provide residual value support capped at 25% for certain projects. Huang views this as the starting point for an open capital market for AI infrastructure, driving a positive flywheel for the AI industry.
