HKUDS Open-Sources OpenOPC: Automate Your AI-Native Company
aigclink · x · 2026-08-11
The HKUDS team from HKU open-sourced OpenOPC, a framework designed to automatically build and operate an 'AI-native company' based on user-defined goals.
The project features three core capabilities:
- 🏗️ Self-Built: Automatically recruits role-specific AI employees to establish a complete organizational structure and reporting lines.
- ⚙️ Self-Run: Uses a state machine to automatically decompose tasks, assign work, and drive handoffs. Independent tasks run in parallel, while bottlenecks are escalated only when necessary.
- 🌱 Self-Grown: The standout feature is its feedback attribution mechanism, which pinpoints user feedback to specific roles. Execution trajectories are distilled into private experiences for those roles, and recurring lessons are upgraded into shared team playbooks, enabling the accumulation of organizational memory.
