Researchers introduced MIRA, a 5B-parameter world model developed by General Intuition, Kyutai, and Epic Games. Without relying on an explicit physics or rendering engine, the model learns to simulate the complete game logic of Rocket League purely from pixels and player actions.
- Training: Trained on 10,000 hours of bot-generated 2v2 gameplay. By predicting the next video frame from historical frames and controls, the model implicitly masters complex rules like car movement, ball physics, scoring, and multi-view synchronization.
- Performance: The model supports 4-player real-time gameplay simultaneously, running at 20 FPS on a single NVIDIA B200 GPU.
