Sono Kills Bulk Downloads, Enraging Paying Users to Act 'Like Cavemen'
nptacek · x · 2026-08-11
AI music generation platform Suno announced that it will not provide any sort of bulk download for song archives, expecting users to download them one at a time.
This change has sparked strong dissatisfaction among longtime paying customers. A user previously pointed out that the new policy means you can only download 4% of the songs you generate in any given month. Users are complaining that this restriction is a slap in the face and a betrayal of their original intent to pay for unlimited downloads.
