A recent local test on the desktop app atomic.chat evaluated Meta's newly open-sourced Muse Glimmer-30B against Gemma 4 31B and Qwen3.6 27B in one-shot retro arcade game generation (Space Invaders, Tetris, Arkanoid).
Muse Glimmer-30B generated fully playable games with intact mechanics and no crashes, whereas Gemma failed the Tetris logic. However, Muse Glimmer's quality came at a significant computational cost: it took 17.7 minutes and 83.4K tokens, compared to Gemma's 4.5 minutes and 17.8K tokens.
