Polyphonic Ships Ambient Desktop Agent with Screen Awareness and Memory
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-08-11
A developer is launching an ambient intelligence tool for the Polyphonic desktop app, summonable via hotkey to connect with AI agents.
Key Features:
- Screen Awareness: The agent sees your screen and can annotate directly on top of it.
- Action Guidance: Highlights exactly what to click or fill out next, and can walk you through explanations with on-screen markup.
- Persistent Memory: Powered by Mnemos, it offers cross-session continuity, learns user behavior, and logs effective prompts to improve suggestions.
Compatibility: Runs on Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, or Openclaw. Users don't need a custom agent—a Claude Code or Codex subscription is sufficient. It also includes a prompt rewriting feature triggered by Option X.
