David Khourshid, creator of XState, is developing an open-source library that lets you author agent logic as state machines and run it across multiple agent frameworks or runtimes, including Mastra, Eve, Flue, Vercel AI SDK, Cloudflare Agents, or your own runtime. The project is progressing.
