Browser-Use CLI 3.0 Slashes Agent Token Usage by 60% with Zero Accuracy Drop
Teknium · x · 2026-08-11
Teknium announced that by adopting the new backend from @browseruse, they have successfully reduced token consumption for AI agents operating web browsers by 60%.
This optimization is achieved in two ways: first, the complex schema of 8 tools was consolidated into a single tool, significantly reducing context usage; second, the interaction method was upgraded so the agent drives the CLI directly via code instead of executing a variety of individual actions. In-house tests show an average saving of 60% tokens per task trajectory with no drop in accuracy.
