LLMs Will Drive Cars and Fly Planes: Predicting the End State of AGI
davidpattersonx · x · 2026-08-11
The author argues that large language models like ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Gemini will eventually be capable of driving cars and flying planes. While current local models like Tesla FSD can barely handle driving tasks, as AI models scale up by thousands of times, driving will consume less than a fraction of 1% of a model's capability. General AI models will learn everything, potentially reaching an optimal end state of AGI with all knowledge and abilities within a few years.
