Richard Socher's team demonstrated a fully autonomous agentic trading workflow. An agent fetches real-time research reports via the @youdotcom Finance Research API and pays for them automatically using the @coinbase x402 standard.
The process requires no manual API key setup, credit cards, or KYC. The agent autonomously pulls reports before market open and executes up to 3 trades with a $250 cap per trade, showcasing an early prototype of AI agents earning and spending independently.
