Startup QED Science developed an AI tool to evaluate the originality and validity of unpublished life-sciences manuscripts. Instead of just looking for supporting evidence, it is trained to spot weak evidence, failed replications, and contradictions.

In a blind test, experts agreed with the AI's calls 75% of the time on the toughest comparisons. Available for free, the tool has been used by over 10,000 labs across 70+ countries, and openRxiv is currently piloting it on bioRxiv.
