xhluca · x · 2026-08-10
A developer shared how AI coding tools have fundamentally altered his cognitive workflow. Previously, he could "see" code in his head, relying on muscle memory to jump straight into a specific file to fix bugs without needing extra context.
Now, his thinking has shifted entirely to prompts. He finds himself recalling suggestions from Codex while cooking dinner and mentally drafting prompts to respond. He believes that thinking in prompts is strictly more advantageous.
