Snip: A Visual Communication Layer for AI Coding Agents Like Claude Code
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-10
The open-source tool Snip introduces a visual interaction mode for AI coding assistants like Claude Code and Cursor. It automatically renders AI-generated architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, ER diagrams, or UI components into graphical previews.
Developers can directly annotate these renders on screen (e.g., circling, drawing arrows, adding notes), and the AI will process this visual feedback to iterate on the code. Snip operates as a system tray app that interfaces with AI coding agents via CLI.
