The Google XR team recently open-sourced GNM, their ecosystem of parametric human models and perception stacks, starting with the release of GNM Head.
The developer community quickly adopted the models for experimentation. A developer extracted the identity and expression components from GNM, applied UMAP for dimensionality reduction, and built an interactive visualization to reconstruct and explore these features directly in the browser.
