Meta Launches Muse Glimmer: 30B On-Device Agentic Model
PyTorch · x · 2026-08-10
Meta introduced Muse Glimmer, an open-weight, 30-billion-parameter model distilled from its foundation model Muse Spark, specifically designed for on-device agentic workflows.
Concurrently, the PyTorch team announced that the ExecuTorch framework now offers end-to-end support for Muse Glimmer, enabling it to run efficiently on NVIDIA GPUs and Apple silicon Macs. ExecuTorch provides a seamless pipeline from native PyTorch development and export to automated backend-specific optimization (supporting Triton, MLX, or Metal).
