Is the RTX 5060Ti Capable Enough for Local Image and Video Generation?
orangeflyingmonkey_ · reddit · 2026-08-10
A user is planning to upgrade their PC primarily to generate images on Krea2 and Ideogram, as well as short videos using Wan2.2.
He found a reasonably priced configuration but it includes an RTX 5060Ti. He asked the community whether this card is sufficient to handle the aforementioned multimodal generation tasks, or if he should absolutely avoid it and aim for a 5070 or 5080 instead. (He will be getting 64GB of RAM regardless).
