Anthropic Partners with Macquarie and GIC for New Data Center Platform
rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-08-10
Anthropic is shifting its compute infrastructure strategy by partnering with Macquarie Asset Management and GIC to establish a new platform named Theseus Infrastructure.
This initiative will develop and operate purpose-built data centers for Anthropic under long-term lease agreements. The move effectively transfers the financial burden and construction risks of data center development to infrastructure investors while securing Anthropic's required compute capacity.
