AI Automated Iteration Boosts Sheet Metal Part Pass Rate from 1% to 31%
burhop · x · 2026-08-10
A developer shared their practice of using AI in an automated loop of experiments, validations, code updates, and re-testing.
Through this cycle, the pass rate for about 70 sheet metal parts jumped from an initial 1 pass (around 1.4%) to 31 passes and 8 failures. While not fully self-learning AI, it demonstrates a highly efficient application of AI in engineering test automation.
