mchiang0610 · x · 2026-08-10
Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) has released Muse Glimmer, its newest open model, now available on Ollama. The 30B parameter model is purpose-built for always-on local agent workflows. Licensed under Apache 2.0, it is designed to run on a single GPU.
The model is specifically tuned for tool use, long tasks, and failure recovery. Leveraging Ollama's MLX engine, Muse Glimmer delivers state-of-the-art performance on Apple Silicon and natively powers coding agent applications like Claude Code and Codex.
