AI Mathematical Intuition: The Search-to-Path Ratio Defines Intelligence

The author proposes a new metric to measure AI capability: the search-to-path ratio. As AI builds 'mathematical intuition,' finding the next proof should require less brute-force search, causing this ratio to fall.
Furthermore, AI development shows a clear hierarchy: from checking a path, to finding a path, to deciding which destination is worth pursuing. AI is getting remarkably good at the first two, but humans still largely supply the third.
