X Product Lead Steps Down After Launching 30 Features and Anti-AI Bot Measures

Nikita Bier announced he is stepping down as Head of Product at X to take on an advisory role, expressing a desire to return to being a regular user.
Over the past 400 days, Bier's team nearly rebuilt the entire X experience, including the timeline, Android app, onboarding, notifications, and chat. The team also shipped nearly 30 new products while enhancing defenses against AI bots and implementing country-of-origin labels.
