US-Israeli payroll unicorn Deel has acquired Tel Aviv-based AI cybersecurity startup Clarity, with estimated deal value between $45 million and $50 million.
Founded in late 2022, Clarity develops deepfake detection software designed to help businesses verify the identities of job candidates, preventing bad actors from gaining employment and accessing sensitive systems through AI-driven fraud. This marks Deel's 15th acquisition and its first in Israel.
