Cloudflare Gives AI Agents an Identity and a Wallet for Agentic Commerce

Cloudflare announced the launch of Cloudflare Wallets and cloudflare.pay, providing AI agents deployed on its platform with a stable identity and the ability to make secure online purchases.
The current internet was built for humans, making it difficult for businesses to tell whether an autonomous AI agent visiting their site is a legitimate customer's assistant or a malicious bot. Cloudflare's new tools allow businesses to verify the identity behind an agent and enable agents to pay for things safely within limits set by their human creators. Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince stated that as the internet shifts from human-driven browsing to agent-driven commerce, this infrastructure is the foundational building block for participating in agentic commerce with confidence.
