HD-Rec Tackles Cross-Domain Recommendation with Hierarchical Quantization & Sparse Routing
_reachsumit · x · 2026-08-10
The paper proposes HD-Rec, a unified generative framework for cross-domain recommendation. It constructs semantic identifiers using globally shared coarse-level codebooks and adaptively routed fine-level codebooks. Furthermore, it introduces a domain-adaptive sparse mixture-of-experts module that combines a continuously activated shared expert with dynamically selected specialized experts to handle heterogeneous behavioral patterns across domains.
