Jeff Dean on His New Startup: Speaking at Stanford, Jeff Dean joked he was "unemployed for exactly one second." He co-founded AI company DiscoveryLoop, noting that leaving Google allows for intense focus on a single goal, and small teams can now access massive compute via the cloud.

Apple Deletes Qwen Integration Docs: A support document titled "Using Qwen with Apple Intelligence on Mac" briefly appeared in Apple China's official manual, confirming integration with Alibaba's Qwen model. The page has since been deleted and is inaccessible.

Kai-Fu Lee on AI Employment: Lee stated that while AI excels at "left-brain" logic, it lacks human "right-brain" traits like empathy and aesthetics. He advised people to pursue "data-less" and "open-ended" fields (like plumbing), predicting open-ended blue-collar jobs will be hard to replace in the next 5-10 years.
