Running MiniMax Video on RTX 4070: Turbo+Sage Combo Cuts Render Time to a Third
Fresh-Resolution182 · reddit · 2026-08-10
A developer tested MiniMax H3's image-to-video capabilities (10s, 1MP resolution) on an RTX 4070. By combining a Turbo LoRA with Sage attention setup and using ChatGPT to help tune parameters, render time was slashed to 11 minutes and 12 seconds, roughly a third of the original time.
The author subsequently processed the generated video with upscaling and frame interpolation. The overall result is solid, though minor jaggedness appears when upscaling small face details in the frame. Additionally, the natively generated audio quality is poor and not recommended for final cuts. The initial stills for this workflow were generated by Seedream 5.0 Pro.
