A San Francisco man named Tucker Bryant spent $6,000 advertising an ‘AI’ chatbot that was actually completely manual.
For over 30,000 user inquiries, Tucker typed out every response and drew pictures himself. Commenters joked that he took the startup mantra "do things that don't scale" way too literally.
