Apple Accelerates China AI with Alibaba Qwen and Baidu, Tests CXMT Memory

Apple is speeding up the rollout of its China-focused Apple Intelligence. Alibaba's Qwen has been confirmed to integrate into Apple's AI system for text and image understanding, while Baidu is reportedly developing an AI search feature for the upgraded Siri.
On the hardware side, to mitigate the global memory shortage caused by AI server demand, Apple is testing DRAM chips from Chinese manufacturer CXMT for use in iPhones and MacBooks.
