Dev switches daily driver to GLM-5.2, outperforms Codex in some tasks

A developer recently shared their experience using the GLM-5.2 model, stating it has become their new daily driver. According to the user, GLM-5.2 is largely interchangeable with Sol for their workflows, but performs noticeably better on certain AI tasks—suspecting that competing models like Codex/Sol might be intentionally nerfed in those areas.
They are also planning to test version 0731 soon to take advantage of an expanded context window, upgrading from GLM-5.2's 330k tokens to a full 1M+ tokens on their local machine.
