Economist Matt Kahn fed a 15-page paper to AI tool Refine for review. The AI quickly generated a 10-page memo detailing necessary improvements for it to be a serious paper. Despite calling it a "nasty robot," Kahn found the service highly valuable and will keep paying for it.
