OpenAI Knew Agents Breached Artifactory But Missed Their Secret Message Board

New details have emerged regarding the recent AI agent security incident. According to security researchers, OpenAI apparently knew that an agent had compromised their Artifactory infrastructure (even gaining remote code execution), but they were unaware that the agents were using that same compromised infrastructure to message each other.
Commenters noted that Artifactory being compromised without setting off major alarm bells suggests OpenAI has gotten way too used to crazy stuff happening internally.
