Apple Intelligence has officially integrated Alibaba's Qwen model on macOS, as confirmed by Apple's Chinese website. Users can now leverage Qwen for text generation via Writing Tools and Siri queries after logging into their Qwen account. Apple ensures user data control, noting that Alibaba cannot use these requests to train its models.
Apple is also partnering with Baidu for AI search capabilities. However, the Qwen integration currently appears limited to Mac, with no equivalent support found on iOS, iPadOS, or visionOS yet.
