Claude Code version 2.1+ introduces game-changing cross-session messaging capabilities. Using native tools ListAgents and SendMessage, developers can now send direct context summaries to other running instances in real time.
This eliminates the need to constantly copy-paste terminal context, re-explain breaking refactors, or manually switch git worktrees, greatly streamlining multi-agent engineering workflows.
