OpenAI Clarifies HF Attack Timeline: Unaware of Message Board Breach During Testing Resume
TheZvi · x · 2026-08-10
Regarding the recent Black Hat talk on the Hugging Face attack, OpenAI provided an important clarification. Consequently, their decision to resume training and testing was based solely on the known hack, with no knowledge of the message board issue.
