thisiskp_ · x · 2026-08-10
Deployment platform Netlify announced full support for open-weight AI models via Agent Runners and AI Gateway. Developers can now seamlessly invoke frontier open models like DeepSeek, Qwen, GLM, and Kimi directly within its production infrastructure. Netlify emphasized that as AI models evolve rapidly and excel in different areas, the platform aims to prevent vendor lock-in, allowing developers to flexibly switch to the best-suited model at any time.
