Westlake Wind Technology in China has developed a drone equipped with a robotic arm, serving as a general-purpose aerial manipulator platform.

Combining flight capabilities with mechanical manipulation, the drone can perform a variety of tasks such as cleaning windows, changing light bulbs, and grabbing objects. It can easily reach hazardous areas that are difficult for humans to access or require scaffolding. This design has the potential to replace many jobs that involve high-altitude work or climbing.
