Google Open-Sources Long Horizon Agent Harness with Memory & 'Dreaming'

Developer Shubham Saboo introduced Long Horizon Agent Harness, an open-source reference framework built on top of the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).
The framework is designed to provide reusable architectural patterns for production environments. Key features include:
- Cross-session memory: Retains context over long time spans.
- Per-user sandbox: Provides isolated, secure execution environments.
- Sub-agents and guardrails: Built-in task orchestration and safety mechanisms.
- Nightly 'dreaming': A unique nightly pass that allows the agent to process data or summarize during idle time.
The project is fully open-source on GitHub.
